Oct 6 2020 - PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — In less than a week, the process begins for Pflugerville voters to decide on a $191.3M bond following recommendations from the 2020 Capital Improvement Bond Committee. The bond is made up of three propositions which include transportation, parks and recreation.
July 16 2020 - PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — Cities across central Texas are considering taking advantage of an 8% property tax revenue cap, instead of the normal 3.5% cap. Senate Bill 2, which went into effect in January, would require a city to put increasing the 3.5% cap to a vote, this doesn’t apply during a disaster declaration. The City of Austin has said it won’t be increasing its revenue cap, however, Kyle and San Marcos are, and now you can add the City of Pflugerville to the list.
